Just two weeks after Steve Jobs death’s has been released (english version). It’s quite a effective strategy to release the biography of one of the most respected person’s shortly after his death but it seems that the biography isn’t supposed to be the master piece of Steve Jobs life. It does not appear as another whitewashed lifework but more than expected grasps reality. A lately presented CBS episode of 60 minutes interviews Walter Issacson, the author Steve Jobs biography. It’s not about the glorious and revolutionary work of Steve Jobs that makes the book as important as it is, no! It’s more about the different point of view that Walter Issacson outs into onsideration. He focuses in the sixty minute talk on the fact that Steve Jobs was a human being and therefore made mistakes in all areas of life. He wasn’t just the breakthrough-genius we know but also a quite chaotic private person.
For those of you, who are really keen to buy the biography. They can do it here

As I posted 2 month before M83 is showing up with a new album called ‘Hurry up, We’re Dreaming’. In my previous post I already was excited about the Single ‘Midnight City’. Now, it is possible to listen to the whole album for free on simfy! I just can say it is amazing. The sound is even better and powerful than I had expected. Already the Intro put a smile in my face. It’s a twentytwo songs strong songlist so the autumn can come! If you think it’s awesome here

Quote.FM, maybe some of you know it, is a web project of three ambitious young guys from Hamburg. Marcel, Martin and Phillip developed a kind of social network in where you can collect interesting articles, documents etc. by quotation. After a few month closed beta-version Quote.fm finally goes public.
I presonally believe that this project has potential. Just look at all those good links and liked articles of your Facebook-Friends that get lost in Facebook’s crappy concept Timeline. It’s a complete mess! Moreover the realisation is more than okay! The design looks a bit apple-like, but it’s simple, functional, just good!
Get ready for the release on the 1st!!!!
Slow + Love = Slove! French Electropop again and again! The french are just good. Slove is just another newcomer band which can make it with the song ‘flash’ to the electropop Olymp!

Director Gustav Johansson and typography artist Albin Holmqvist have been out to create another three episodes of the award-winning “EF – Live the language” commercial. At end of 2010 when episodes for Paris, Barcelona, London and Peking had been released, now Vancouver, Sydney and Los Angeles were added.
The intensity of these commercials and how they convey emotions is unique and breathtaking. As a former EF student it kind of make me feel comfortable and set me back to these times. The videos were filmed with Canons 5D and 7D DSLR Cameras and the post production came from the Goodmotion guys. The processing of Albin Homqvists typography input is as smooth as it can be. These guys made a really outstanding job
All videos can be viewed on EF’s Vimeo
Thanks to Kishan & Pip Perkins for the hint !
Facebook will introduce a new profile concept called ‘timeline’ available for everybody on the 30th September. It is definitely an attempt to destroy Google+ reputation as the new social network for photographers since photos are supposed to be better presented and safer (privacy/rights) on Google+ than on Facebook.
